A defendant in the Waco biker shooting has filed a motion claiming prosecutors distributed “revenge porn” against him and his wife. On Thursday, Houston defense lawyer Paul Looney, known for hosting press conferences with a lit cigar suspended from his lips and a Lone Star bolo-tie affixed to his white shirt, announced a motion to remove the McLennan County District Attorney’s Office from the case of former biker Cody Ledbetter. The victim told a Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office deputy in March 2016 that her ex-boyfriend, Curtis Robert Bauss, 25, had taken photos of them during sex with her knowledge. × Story continues below video The victim had the photos in her possession, but she told the deputy Bauss had taken them off her devices. Lead by columnist Madonna King, the Queensland Anti-Cyberbullying Taskforce was established in February to develop proposals for Queensland to address the complex and pervasive issue of cyberbullying. According to the Taskforce’s website, the public forum tonight at the Clive Berghofer Stadium will seek ideas from the public to help prevent or reduce cyberbullying of young people and to support people affected by the cyberbullying of young people. ST.LOUIS, MO-  Missouri lawmakers unanimously approved a bill banning Revenge Porn.  The proposal would make distributing a sexual image of someone without their consent a felony. It also outlaws threatening to make the image public in order to prevent someone from doing something or to gain something of value. SEOUL: A man in his 30s has been found guilty of posting nude photos of his former girlfriend on social media in an apparent “revenge porn” scheme. Busan District Court on Sunday handed down a jail term of 1 1/2 years to the man for spreading private sexual images without consent. The court said it took into consideration how the suspect had no previous criminal records and had already paid compensation to the victim. In December last year, the man allegedly created a fake social media profile impersonating his ex-girlfriend and posted nude photos of her with obscene comments. The man told investigators he decided to post the nude photos, as his former girlfriend had been avoiding contact with him in an attempt to break up. The fake profile was taken down afterward.   A New Richmond man has entered a plea in a revenge porn case. Wyoming County Prosecutor Mike Cochrane said it is the first case in the county under the new statute, which became law last year. Timothy McNulty, 47, pleaded no contest early last week. According to Cochrane, McNulty sent intimate photos of an ex-girlfriend to another person. A first offense is a misdemeanor, Cochrane reported. A second offense is a felony. A first offense carries penalties of a fine of no less than $1,000 and no more than $5,000. There can also be jail time of up to a year. While referred to as “revenge porn,” the prosecutor said the statute is actually called “non-consensual disclosure of private, intimate images.” McNulty was charged in November 2017. Lt. Ashley Nicole Grove, 28, was charged this week by summons for an incident first reported by the victim on Jan. 2, according to the charging document filed by the Washington County Sheriff’s Office in District Court. One of the charges was under Maryland’s revenge porn statute. The teenager told investigators that Grove posted the photos of her performing sexual acts on a male to Facebook, the document said. The victim said “she had several broken cell phones which she gave to” Grove, the document said. Brandon Harder / Regina Leader-Post The provincial government has introduced legislation that is intended to support victims of “revenge porn.” The initiative, introduced today by Justice Minister and Attorney General Don Morgan, will create new legal options for people whose intimate images have been shared without their consent. An intimate image is a visual image, including photos or videos, in which a person is nude, partially nude, or engaged in explicit sexual activity, that was made in circumstances that implied a reasonable expectation of privacy. “This Bill sends a strong message that this callous, criminal behaviour has consequences, and that the Government of Saskatchewan stands with the victims of this type of attack,” Morgan said in a news release.
